The Jaguars are to continue growth around a strong core

The Jaguars 2008 team is excited to continue its growth through player development with a core group of players having competed in 5v5 and 7v7 games that past couple of seasons.   In addition, the team has spent countless hours on the pitch learning the game, improving their soccer skills, making friends and enjoying each other.   The team is seeking other highly motivated like-minded 2008 & 2009 players looking to enhance their soccer experience.

Teams train twice a week during the 12-week Fall & Spring seasons.  During the winter, the team focuses on technical training once a week during a 10-week period.  The Jaguars compete in EDP-5v5 & MOSA-7v7 in addition to playing in indoor & outdoor tournaments.

The teams are managed and coached by Vinny Farina.  Coach Farina oversees the Jaguars group which consists of players born between 2008-2010.  Vinny is the acting Director of Training & Vice President of Millstone United Travel Soccer.  He also directs the fall and recreation programs for players from Pre-K to 2nd grade.  Vinny has coached travel and recreation soccer for 10 years and holds the US Soccer-C License, La Liga-2nd Methodology Certification and works with NJ Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program.  He played for Rutgers-Newark collegiately and played on several amateur teams in NJ after college. Vinny managed a men’s team for 10 years and still actively involved in competitive soccer as a player.  Vinny has a MBA from Rutgers and when not on a soccer pitch, works as Director of  Data Analytics for a national hospital system.  Vinny is married and has 2 children who also play soccer and are actively involved in the community.

The team’s objectives evolve around player development.  The coaches strive to provide players a forum where they can learn the game, make friends, improve technical/tactical skills while most importantly having fun and becoming fans of the sport.

Players/Parents interested in the program can reach out to Vinny Farina via email- or calling 732-580-7816.
