If anyone is interested in joining our teams, please contact coach Roman to schedule an evaluation. Players may request a trial anytime during the year for any season. In order for your child to be eligible to play for the Thunder/Lighting/Rain group, your child must be born in or after 2007 or 2006. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Roman at the e-mail addresses listed above.  The MUTS Thunder/Lightning/Rain are headed into their 4th year together, starting from the 2014 Fall Season.

The focus is on individual player development both individual technique and individual tactics and how those individual tactics apply to group and team general tactics. The coaches are all concussion awareness certified, and licensed by NJYS.  (Coaching licenses range from NJYS F, USSF National D(In Progress), La Liga level 2, NSCAA GK  Level 2, NSCAA DOC Diploma, Corver Level 1, NSCAA Futsal Level 1, US Youth National Diploma).  The coaches experience varies from 3-10 years in training and developing youth soccer players in the state of NJ. The Thunder/Lightning/Rain are a group of 3 teams that train together in small groups with like minded players/coaches. The coaches follow a methodology that allows for individual player development, group and team development. The same methodology that many youth and professional La Liga (Spanish Premier Soccer League) academies in Spain use to develop world class players, clubs like Athletic Balboa, Barcelona, Real Madrid. To read more about the tool/methodology click HERE. To learn more about how this methodology applies to a small club read this case study on Athletic Bilbao HERE.
