MUTS General Meeting Minutes: January 8, 2009.

 

Members present:  Gary Bonham, Bill Blair, Jim Gregory, Tracy Littlefield, Sharon Keefe, Tom Murphy, Rocco Regina, Nick Stephan, & Jim Whitney.

 

Call to order - 8:05 p.m. by Jim Gregory

 

MOSA Flight night - January 22nd, for the Spring 2009 season.  Murphy (Ironmen) requesting a lower flight; inquiry made for any other team request.

 

Any new teams to be announced:  Blair (Rangers) new girls U-8 to play this Spring in Jersey Coast.

 

Fundraising overview by Keefe & Regina:

 

      Rollerskating @ Jackson rink on 2/1 from 10-12 noon; $10.00 tkts., with 50/50 raffles & Super Bowl boxes.  Each team will be allocated 15 tkts. to sell, more can be purchased at the door; profits to go directly to individual teams.

     Clarksburg tavern on 2/28: $55.00 a tkt., with food & open bar.  Proceeds to go to MUTS as a whole organization.

 

Open discussion in regards to project expenditures from MUTS budget.  Suggestion made by (Stephan) in regards to members e-mailing their requests/ideas to his attention:  Suggestions discussed at meeting were:  Playground, Goal keeper training, Signage for Brandywine soccer complex, portable "ultima goals".  Further follow up on ideas @ next meeting with timeline to be set.

Next meeting: 1st Thursday of the month (Feb. 5, 2009).
